This entire blog is about something I love to do, grilling. A huge part of that is taking some of my favorite things and bringing them to the grill. Especially if they are not known to be made on the grill. Broccoli is my absolute favorite vegetable. As a kid, I was sure I had it prepared every way imaginable….so I thought. I recently started roasting my broccoli and thought it would be delicious on the grill.
Extremely simple recipe. Here is all you need.

You can use any seasoning you’d like. The seasoning I’m using today comes from A.L.L. Seasoning. Very delicious. You can find it here.
Combine broccoli with olive oil and seasoning in bowl. Use enough olive oil to coat, I used about a quarter of a cup. The broccoli will soak up some of the oil so it may seem like a lot, but you’ll be fine. Use as much seasoning as you like. I like bold flavors, so I used about 3 tablespoons.

I have my grill heated and ready to go for direct grilling over some lump charcoal. I also have a basket that I’m using. This basket is very useful when cooking smaller sized foods. It is one of the 10 grilling accessories that I highlighted in my last article that will make your life easier.

I grilled these florets for about 10 Minutes before I turned them. Watch the video to see how easy turning them is with a basket.
Cooked for about 12 minutes more. This is going to take a little while because that broccoli had to break down and get a little softer. This is the perfect dish to throw on the grill first while the other stuff is cooking.
Finished product. Nice, charred, and delicious. Most of all, simple as all get-out!
